Henri Selmer of Paris; Louis Armstrong Special Balanced Bb/A Trumpet, the balanced model first introduced in 1933 was the trumpet of choice for Louis Armstrong, 'The Special' was introduced in 1934, with ornate engraving and Louis Armstrong Special' engraved along the horn. The horn has the serial number 528 which gives the year of manufacture as 1934, the very first year of production, and does include Lew Davis autographed mouthpiece.
